It is the norm if you want to win right away....that way they come out of the box ready to go in the spring.


If you practice all winter as a team and in the spring your kids still lose, find a better team and more specifically another coach.


Thats a simple view. At this age a team with two or three studs can and will take over a game and win. That does not mean they are a great team or they have a great coach. Losing after practicing all winter happens. How good are the athletes? If you practice all winter and do not IMPROVE move on. Winning and losing is not the only barometer. If it is the one you use with 4th grade lacrosse you are a tool. Teams will change dramatically as more come out for travel. A coach that you enjoy and teaches should be much more important than winning this spring
