Some teams are practicing twice a week or at least once a week with kids in various tournaments. These teams are getting stronger. The two little guys to watch though are the 91b Warriors and the Empire green team. Warriors even though a B team have been together 3 years now and could be a strong team since they practice a lot and have at least one new top recruit. Empire Green, the new program, have a lot of strong kids defense and offense .This was clear at MLK but they don't practice at all and the competition wasn't there. They also have too many kids on that team to develop the talent they have.

Another team to look at is the new 91 team out of the Sports Hub called Hurricanes. The 4th grade team is their best. Its their first year and we'll see how the season unfolds. They've been playing up against 5th grade and have been winning.
Brian O'Keefe is the director so I'm sure the team will be a strong force for the future.




At this age how can you compare teams (91) who practice year round to teams like (Empire) that haven't practice yet as a team? You really can't and shouldn't...
