So what Ive been told from a reliable source is what happened is Sunday was always designed to be the AA day and Saturday A. But an unusually large number of out of state AA type teams expressed interest in playing both days. So NL who is running the tournament scheduled some games on Saturday afternoon where they had some extra field availability with the out of state teams. They tried to accommodate more local teams playing against the elite out of state teams, but there was field availability limitations on granting everyone’s request.
