What is everyone doing as far as Prospect days and Showcases? The coaches can't tell you if they are interested, and no coaches are on the sidelines for 2021 games since the rule changes for recruiting. Is it worth spending the money?
Does your son play lacrosse to get recruited or does he play lacrosse because he loves to play lacrosse?
What a stupid reply, he can love the game in the back yard without paying $150.00, plus tolls, gas, hotel maybe. I would wait until next year.
I think you're arguing against yourself - I read the the reply as being that boys should first and foremost be playing because they love the game. How does that make the reply stupid and/or in conflict with response?!
The question was is it worth paying, $100, $200, $650 to have your kid who wants to play college ball do these showcases if the college coaches weren't paying attention to 2021's over the summer? Will they start looking this year? We did a few last year, before the rule changed and the coaches said to start this summer. The rules changed, and not a coach was watching this age group.
