I don't see anyone criticizing Garden City. Calling a b team b is not something to get offended by. It will be interestingly to see what happens starting the 2021 year. Catholic schools have increased class size. This will hurt the lax power house schools as it seems like everyone got into the top schools. Also remember the powerhouse programs of the past may not be as successful in the next few years. In the past the powerhouse schools attracted all the schools top athletes and did not loose athletes to baseball and other sports. Starting around 2021 or 2022 many not known lacrosse schools started attracting the best athletes for lax. Also other schools have increased the budget for for lax and are getting better coaching because they now attract the best athletes. So with many more schools attracting the best athletes and putting money to better coacing the gap is closing. Also the powerhouse schools in the past would have kids playing since third or fourth grade and play mostly schools who most of the kids started in middle school. Now and probably starting the 2021 graduating year everyone is starting in second or third grade. So that 50 years of dominance you speak of is for reasons and advantages that no longer exist. The proof is the Garden City 2019 and older kids can always play with the AA kids or teams. Not the case in 2021 where the best kids from GC form a b team. Everyone is starting to catch up for the above reasons. All this makes sense unless you think just because your kid plays for GC he is the best. We know that can't be true.

HC will win the County and contend for the island. Plenty of GC kids go to private every year, and guess what, they're still going to dismantle your sons high school team and make you look like a D team.
