The power rankings has a lot to do with strength of schedule. East was the 5th seed going into the season, West was 9th. West's schedule is weaker and won't receive as many power points compared to East. Since East beat Ward Melville and Northport, they receive a certain percentage from each of their wins. West lost to both but still receive power points from West Islip because West beat them. Comes down to strength of schedule. Should be an interesting end to the season with West playing Middle Country and East playing North Babylon.
