91 allows their L.I. Kids to play but most don’t want to which proves the point that these teams are useless.
Are any travel teams not useless? It’s just for kids to play more than they would with PAL and school at the end of the day. National teams are pretty much for the fun of it. Kids from different states getting together. If their parents aren’t worried about the cost nor should you. Some teams assemble good teams some assemble whoever wants to play.
Oh stop, you aren't sending your 12/13yr old to a national team tourney over the holiday break because it's "fun" You are sending him there because someone convinced you he is elite, and you really believe college coaches are there scoping him out.
No one believes college coaches are there. What a hammerhead.
It still is kids sports and it is fun for the children. I am sure that is a difficult concept to grasp for you.
