North beat LIE pretty handily. It’s early, lots of lacrosse to play and only a playdate.
North has older players and that is significant at this age. Just like most of the teams down south. Just like most of the national teams. Just like most teams NOT from Long Island. The fact is that most teams on Long Island, minus venom, are going to have a hard time competing this year in most tournaments. It is what it is at this point. Change is on the horizon.

Are we going to revert to the unsubstantiated “they are all older” narrative every time a team loses? The whole team is 2028, it’s doubling as their World Series team.
2028 is a graduation year and not an age. There is a difference.
