Especially in the south. I guess they got tired of losing to the North East teams. The best youth clubs are determined by who has the most holdbacks on the team. It's no longer about good coaching, hard practices, etc. It's about kids that are older that went through puberty beating the heck out of the kids who didn't yet. Yes, this will change later in HS but for the 5- 9th graders. This is what determines winning teams.
