This post is highly misleading to our BOTC Community and largely incorrect.

A coach's verbal agreement can and will take place without prior academic application reviews. Further, with freshmen and sophomores now verbally commiting, such verbals are clearly being made without a full set of Board Scores or a complete evaluation of High School Scholastic performance by the NCAA Clearinghouse.

The assertion that a year of prep school (also known as thirteenth grade at institutions such as Deerfield and similar) cures all academic ills is incorrect.
