With a Long Island-best 141 points this season, Rotanz finished a magnificent five-year varsity career with 450 points (245 goals), third best in Long Island history. He'll take his talents to Maryland, which will find a place in its lineup for his hard shot, accurate passes and ability to dodge in traffic. Rotanz is a three-time Newsday All-Long Island choice and also a three-time All-American

JUSTIN GUTERDING, Nassau Player of the Year
Garden City, Attack, Sr.
Guterding constantly drew the toughest defenders but still scored 56 goals and added 46 assists to finish No. 5 on Long Island in points (92). He had 41 points (22 goals) during Garden City's run to a second consecutive Class B state championship in seven playoff games.
