I promise you that you will see tons of team switching in your near future as players will grow/develop quickly in one year and/or parents/kids get disgruntled about playing time, be it valid or political.
If the latter, no doubt you will see it as political, you will be back on here soon enough boasting that your new team is best and try sideline recruiting from the team you just left.
So sit back and enjoy the ride and try your best not to get caught up in the rankings from season to season.

Um, dude, check yourself. A) Someone else posted the rankings and I commented on them. B) Not my first or second born... C) Not disgruntled or planning to switch teams or even touting my son's team D) I agree with the content of your 2nd paragraph, but spare me the "I've been there, done that, seen it all" advice.

My frustration is really aimed at the ranking of teams. More often than not parents on here get caught up too often in the rankings and lose sight of what really matters.
I believe parents and kids lose out every time rankings come into play.
Looking forward to a great season of watching teams battle.
