You made me do some research and here is what I found.

Age based tournament aka the World Series 5/5 champions from LI.

NLF AA championships: not aged based
LI 8 championships
Mid Atlantic 4 championships
Mass 2 championships
Midwest: 1 championship
West coast: 1 championship

Glad you wasted your time Anthony. Just you see— the MD teams are gonna punish you guys this summer

Due to Covid, 2028 has a very small sample size of teams playing different geographies. From the VERY small sample, the post about MD teams is accurate until it gets settled on the field in the summer season. This age group could also be one where a non-hotbed team (Texas, FL, CO etc) with a great coach and some athletes could make a run at the bigger tournaments. Those areas in particular did not have a lost year like the Northeast and could surprise. July NLF in Mass will set the stage for the age group and the field of teams will have every geography represented. Also a very small chance the WSYL survives long enough for 2028.
