You had no choice. With Tradition and Mills folding, you lose two Long Island teams ranked 90+ that you normally beat in the fall and carry your rankings throughout the whole season while you dodge competition. Now Queen of Long Island HURTS your ranking rather than helps it.
I think you have Team 91 confused with another club team. We did not play Tradition or Mills in the Fall. Those two teams we beat at the spring Queen of the Island and they finished the season ranked 17 and 21. And speaking of "dodging competition" we played Heros the #1 team along with other top 10 teams. We dropped Queen of the Island, The Grind, and LI Lax Fest to give the girls the best chance to face the top teams this summer and into the future.
We're saying the same thing, fall or spring doesn't make a difference. You've eliminated tournaments that hurt/will hurt your ranking. That's math, not ambition. Sitting out of Queen of Long Island doesn't make you a better NY competitor, it makes you a competition dodger.
