Legacy guy here and will say oreilly busts his [lacrosse] training anybkid he can get. He gets them to play.
He gets most kids to love the sport. Agreed, he's not for everyone but compared to most coaches of B teaches he's the best you will get and your son will learn to love the game, which is what it should be about.
