Roster sizes at junior Open for girls is way to large. They needed to add another team and trim the rosters from 25-26 girls to 21/22. Overall play has been okay. Felt skill level at UA150 was better. I did appreciate the 2 hour practice on Tuesday, for girls to get to know each other. Wasn’t a fan of 2024s and 2025s playing 1 game at a time, when there was an open field available. Teams had to sit around 3/4 hours between games.
Rosters too big. Big drop off after first line went out on most teams. It won’t be an event we do again. Not many coaches there for the 24 kids.
