What team is #2 in MD? Looneys, BLC, Arden? Looking to tryout with best long term development. Thank you.
If you are trying for best long term development, you shouldn’t limit your search to the #2 team, or the top 5 for that matter. There are a ton of teams with excellent player development going on. The top 3 take the superstars(or poach them from other teams with all kinds of promises attached) so coaches don’t have to really teach the game at all, but will take all the credit for “developing” them. My point is, don’t count out the AAA teams. If you are looking for a team to stay with long term, you should broaden your search outside the top 2.*

You need to be honest about your end goal for your child - if he just wants to play in play in public high school and club will do If he wants to play in the MIAA - you need to look at top tier programs If you look at the rosters of the top programs they are littered with D1 commits AAA and AA and other programs fill D2 and D3 rosters and there is nothing wrong with that at all
