I think the coaches want to see how the uncommitted players match up against the committed players. The committed players represent future college players.
Also, I think it shows team spirit if all the players attend the showcase tournaments !
Did someone say "team spirit" . you must be new, everyone knows there is no I in team and there is definitely no "team" in "club"
