They used to be… but they’d lose by 10+ to Venom.

Venom coach’s kids are terrible. Wouldn’t even make Rebels. U people need to get off the pipe Yeah why complain about coaches kids when they are actually good! Legacy has a coach son that is really good on attack, best on the team. He’ll probably be on venom by next year.

Sure every so often he's the best kid on the team, but more often than not that is not the case. These club owners use this method to cut coaching costs and lacrosse-coach dads want there kid on the field 100% of the time, talent be damned. That's why they do it and that's why most of the coaching-dads don't have the most talented athletes.

Would I be wrong if I simply just registered my kid for the 29' team? Or is holding back your kid only for the private school kids?

Venom seems to be doing just fine with daddy ball formula 91 has dozens of teams so to say it works for 1 team is irrelevant. Many people won’t send their kid to 91 specifically for that reason. No one wants a travel Dad coach.
