Looks like they axed the 2022 team at AS.. ( as they should) since there were only 5-6 players in that age group who showed up at tryout

Who's idea was to hold UA tryouts the day after the Mid Atlantic games. Some girls are playing up to 6 games today, and won't be home until after midnight. So dense!

Are you really still talking? This Sachem dad never shuts up. His own wife left the game because he is an embarrassment.

Anyone know when the UA rosters will be released. Will be interesting, didn’t look like anyone really stood out in the last session. I’m sure it will be political as usual. Thinking sometime today?

Agreed a lot of talent but nothing overwhelming in last game

Some parents just can't help themselves.... Always trying to elevate their daughter by knocking and tearing down other players who are considered better than their daughter. While Inside Lacrosse Player Rankings, Under Armour All-American selections and College Coaches opinions are not perfect when a player is recognized by all three as being one of the best I would say the player is legit. Now, when a player is not ranked in the Top 30-40 by Inside Lacrosse, doesn't make UA Senior Game and does not receive any offers from Top 10 Programs, well its safe to say the player is not as good as the ones that do....

IMHO The College Coaches at the Top College Programs are the best evaluators of HS players.

Totally off topic of all the above but does Anyone know if US lacrosse selected the combine participants from first round of regional tryouts yet?

There was an email over the weekend saying the list is still forthcoming.

When will the UA teams be announced? Thought it would be today

Emails sent last night. UA selection process was no different this year than last. Still used biased evaluators and some of the selections are baffling to say the least

All you have to do is look at who the coaches are. Embarrassing, YIKES!

When do they post the rosters?

All- American YJ from Northport cut. Guess it really confirms what everyone says about who the coaches are! Can’t wait to see how many Elevate girls who don’t even start on their HS teams are on the roster!

And the NP Coach had no say in the AA selection?

How's everyone feeling about mandatory COVID vaccines although not FDA approved in order to dorm and attend college next month?

Find a lawyer or a request religious exemption.

I am very happy about it. It is the only way for these kids to have a normal college year. All of my kids (HS and college) are vaccinated and it was the right thing to do. Why would you not want your kid to to get it?

I saw the roster.. overall not surprised. some names we all know and should be there, some up and coming 2023's
( tough decision now whether to go to AS or UA..) the rest from Kotowski's club.

Making UA questionable yet again

Not sure if the bias is that bad for UA this year. My daughter got picked and she is not part of the coaching staff club team. I was pleasantly surprised as we expected the usual club bias Expedia;ly after our experience last time out. I guess we can see what the rosters are when they get published

The politics in girls lacrosse is really really sad. Northport girl should be on that team hands down If you follow girls lacrosse. Because Carol Rose is not involved and now people get chance to get back at her and unfortunately they take it out on kids sad!

The rosters are published, take a look to see who you’ll be playing with.
The coaches pick their club team players that’s how it was in the past and that’s how it is this year.
The highlight roster is TopGuns and Elevate heavy, let’s see how they do.
For the girls who never went before it’ll be a nice experience, Will it help the uncommitted 2022’s get recruited? I’m not sure, but it’ll be fun.

Same- very happy! Exactly, why wouldn’t you not want your kid to get it? If you do not want to get vaccinated to protect yourselves from getting sick- science, not politics. Than stay home and don’t go outside to become a human Petri dish for more mutants of the virus to develop. Thus , making the situation even worse for everyone. Or, go outside and play Russian roulette with your life? If your kids not vaccinated, please have them stay home and do remote learning. Could save their life and yours

If "x" is vaccinated and "y" is not, how is "y" hurting "x"? Science is already showing that vaccinated individuals are STILL getting COVID.

Because they are risking putting stress on our health care system. They are much more likely to exhibit severe symptoms and increase the risk of another shutdown/ limitation of normal activities

If vaccinated individual still gets it, it’s a lot less severe. Like…Not getting hospitalized and dying! Plus the ones not getting vaccinated and getting hospitalized costing the system greatly and potentially losing their lives or causing others too! #science

Um... we are getting over a pandemic where over 600,000 Americans died. There were not enough beds in many hospitals to handle the sick. If you don't want the vaccine, don't get it. But please stay home and keep your kids online for college while everyone else get on with their lives. The question was asked about how people felt about the mandated vaccine. It doesn't really matter how you feel. The universities are mandating it for a reason, it's not up for debate! Stop being so selfish and be part of the solution, not the problem. There is something called public health. Look it up.

Just like CR and the other coaches have done for years! If you can out play or out shine one of the “chosen” girls you could never get a fair tryout. There are girls overlooked or snubbed every year.
