Doesn't YJ have a 2020 commit listed who barely played for one season and she lives in Florida. And a 2021 that just went to YJ after being with TG for years. CR listed her as well. She hasn't played a summer season with YJ yet. They all do it. Give it a rest.

They go twice a week during tournament season. Move Sunday practice to a day during the week.

Because it is about money. Andrew and shannon have both been hired for extra practices in the past. Ask them what day is good, how much, then ask parents who is in on that day, divide by number of people and book it. Warning, some people will not be able to make it, some will feel slighted and basically hate you for it, others will appreciate it and thank you.

they have 20 minutes every weekend and girls have other obligations during the summer some play some soccer someplace Summerfield hockey so I'm go to campus for a couple of days during the week. It's also finals and regents week and you also have the prom.so one practice is pretty sufficient

The chosen ones are already getting extra practices in small groups and have been for some time, if you weren't invited then you now know what their opinion of your kid is

Where does it say I have a problem with that you dumb [lacrosse]? This is also coming from first hand experience with TG and these teams and coaches, why do you make it about CR? You have issues, try to relax!

I think this whole debate is comical . My kid plays YJ and if they actually have any practice during the week that's a lot .

You can't call what TG does practice. The girls have a catch for 20 minutes and then it's run their isolation play. Defense is never practiced. Draws are never practiced. Clears and transition are never practiced. Teaching the girls to pass to the open girl is never practiced. College girls spend half their time on their phones. Another mass exodus is coming from what's left of 2021 and 2020 after SS shredded them without their parents present

Would it be acceptable if your daughter failed a test and the teacher told her she was a disgrace to the entire school? Absolutely not. So why is it OK for the program director, who has put ZERO effort into helping the 2020 purple team, to blast them over fundamentals that she has never taught in her program? She can not speak to 13 year old girls as if they were her college team. Instead of shredding them, how about teaching them what they should be doing correctly. She would be lucky to name 5 girls on that team. That team is a reflection of your travel brand. Keep hiring college girls just looking for something to do over the summer and not real coaches to help your program along. The gap between YJ and TG is widening every day

So let me get this right. 2020 girls are old enough to be recruited but when they get chewed out for not playing hard they are "13 year old girls" . That's funny

Wait?? You are trashing TG for hiring college players as coaches?? I agree that college players have absolutly no business being head coches. Ironically, that is the exact reason we left YJ. They put college girls in charge of youg girls and it ws an absolute crapshow! We left and got some real coaching. Now my daughter runs circles around the girls on that team. And to think we paid for that???

Welcome to club lacrosse folks! It's expected your kids come in with good fundamentals ! If not better adapt have them make friends ... basketball helps, soccer helps but unless these root skills are not learned early and reinforced it's a crapshoot with any program!!

doesn't have time for that. they need to work on plays and game situations.

That is absolutely incorrect. The best thing clubs and any program can do is constantly work on fundamentals. You probably don't realize that Maryland devotes a large part of their practice EVERY day to stickwork. Glad u don't run my kid's team.

I did watch SS coach her butt off for 18 black against 18 purple yesterday. Beat them 5-3. Doesn't have the decency to say good game to her own team
