NGLL schedules and standings are a joke. They top teams are meeting in quarters and semis because B level teams playing up were given easy schedules and finishing high in standings. I would understand if these schedules were random but they are set up to allow M&D shore / west and red opportunity to make the playoffs while the top 2 or 3 a teams know each other out.

Seeds 1-3 are the top 3 teams in the mid Atlantic/country. They all finished 7-1 with a single goal separating them in the tie breaker. If they got any easier of a schedule they would have all went 8-0 and in the same position. So not sure the argument there.

Integrity got a gift of a schedule only playing M&D. However, they probably are the 4th best team. So they finished where they should. The 5th-8th seed doesn’t really matter because I’m not sure they can win a first round game but, they all played similar schedules. It came down to the final weekend to determine the seeding. So the schedule makers did something right to keep it competitive till the last games were played.

For the most part anyway. M&D Red going 1-7 with the schedule they were given has to be an embarrassment to the club. Their only win was to a winless team who still managed to outscore them on the season. Would love to know what is going on there…
