Are there any good academic D2 schools which give a lot of money for lax or academic?
All D2 schools give good money. the problem with D2 is, most of the schools are small with an average ranking. Not many, if any, are considered high academic. D2 is good fo the average student with good lacrosse skills. They stack athletic and merit. My sons friend (2023) got 75% from a Westchester school. Our Neighbor got 80% from a Rockland County school. D2 is a favorite of Canadian kids because of the amount of money that is giving. Not saying Canadian's don't play on every level, just saying a lot play at the D2 schools.
If your kid can get into an elite school go for it, if your son is an average student who wants a college educaton, look at Pace, Adelphi or down south Tampa etc.... not bad schools, just not elite. They all give big money.
