If your son is good enough it is the college coaches job to find them. Summer travel is a joke but is used to compete and develop. If you are not on a top team maybe your organization gets into a few tournaments where college coaches attend and your son is seen. I have been here and navigated the process( 3 sport athlete going to top 3 college team in country). Go to college prospect camps Under armour tryouts - making team is political but tryout is the exposure ( top 50 main field is goal) Nassau/suffolk hs tryout is cheap and great exposure- If this is what your son wants he will find a home, Like earlier poster said enjoy the moment not the recruitment.
