Beat Heros and lost a close game to Coppermine at the Indoor Championship in Spooky Nook. Not associated with either but seems the gap at the top is narrowing.

There are only 3 or 4 girls that are allowed to shoot on goal for Coppermine so as the girls get older it’s easier to defend.
Word on the street is they may be adding a star attacker to their team next year - unless this player gets scopped up elsewhere.

If you're talking about the Aces player, it's sooner than next year. Just one more player who can never leave the field. Good luck to the rest who are already battling for PT.

Aces is one of the very few teams that has beaten Coppermine over the past two years. Unless the family is moving, this move doesn't make too much sense--assuming the scuttlebutt is accurate.

Don't know anything about a specific girl going to Coppermine, but I do know the club across multiple levels is imploding, especially at the 27 level. Wouldn't at all be surprised if top 28 players are looking for greener pastures elsewhere.

They just had their first recruiting class and needless to say, "it didn't go well". Only 9 girls placed D1 and a majority of them at bottom level clubs (2 @ Youngstown st, Fairfield, Niagra, Cincinnati, etc). None to top 20 teams.

Coppermine has been around a little longer but has an even worse recruiting record. Their 2025 class has 6 D1 commits to non-top schools and 3 DIII commits...The club is really banking on their 2028 class to turn it around and they certainly have some top players that will go to top schools, but if my daughter was not in that top group of players I would be concerned and I am not moving her to Coppermine for recruiting help.
