If there isn’t much a coach can do to make a kid better than why would you pay thousands to be on a travel team?
So you can say your kid plays for a travel team...... Welcome to the DMV..
Also some kids have teammates they have been with for years and have made friendships.
So that is why you see groups of kids leave teams to go to another.
