@ChillLaxin out of him. Aidan Chairs on msj took the ball away from him every time and he drops his hands every time and the msj goalie may look like a 6th grader but played like Logan mcnanny out there. The gaels look solid this year with one of the best players out as well. St. Paul’s don’t worry there is more coming for the rest of the Miaa

My son got cut from this program. Total bs. They have no idea what club team he plays for (Team 91 fire). Luckily for him he has west virginia and maryland in his backpocket for football. This program is an absolute disgrace. The "number 2" long snapper in the nation only has 2 offers? Doesn't sound like a top recruit to me.

Indian Creek parent here,
Saint Pauls is AWFUL. I am 100% confident that if they moved Indian Creek up to the A we would be a playoff team. After watching the MSJ vs Saint Pauls game I am certain that we should be in the A over Saint Pauls. Saint Pauls has no midfielders and the Indian Creek offensive gameplan would pick apart the Saint Pauls' god awful defense. Indian Creek should be in the A conference over any team besides a real program like Friends. That AD knows what he's doing and will be successful. In conclusion, I hope the MIAA admins see this and move Indian Creek up to the A!

The cheaters over at BL are going to get exposed soon. All these boarders and they are still going to lose. Why would those boarding parents send their kids to a school for the mentally challenged like BL. Bad decision on their part

Question- Why doesn't the MIAA have rules for everyone getting equal playing time. I've heard that many rec leagues do this and it's very beneficial for some of the less developed players. With lacrosse being so political these days I seriously think that some highschool teams should consider this. I know the only reason my son isn't being played is because of the family ties, politics etc. #firehaus

There may be a lot of problems we are never going to solve, but equal playing time is not a solution. The weak will wash out eventually if they are not supposed to be there-or their school will suffer like Loyola.

You're a IAmInsecure @ChillLaxin. If i was your son I would be ashamed. You're just jealous that your son got cut and mine didn't. My son will be continuing his athletic career at Hood College playing collegiate lacrosse. I would take that any day over walking on as a long snapper at the 4-6 West Virginia. Leave the lacrosse talk to the parents with sons who play.

super bowl XXXVII champion, 2x rose bowl/ big ten conference champs, 2x Wisconsin D1 high school state champs, Gatorade player of the year here,
this forum is a joke nobody knows anything about the sport of lacrosse. Gilman's poverty school has a history of rapists, Calvert Hall is a trashy public school, McDonough is the worst country club program in the country. i would rather send my boys to Dunbar for gods sake.

The BS has finally ruined a lacrosse forum that was at one time actually a good forum for talking about games and the league and the results. Now this forum is just about hurling insults, degrading other programs etc. Don't you want MSJ, JC Severn etc all to do well so the league remains the top in the country. Some of the elitist would like this to be a 5 team league....yea that would be alot of fun.

You sure about this? Spalding has the tendency to CHOKE. Plus all their over rated superstars are just that OVERRATED! . Spalding’s only accomplishment is having the highest percentage of’ turnovers and missed shots on goal.

With visions of grandeur, parents send their kids to a lax mill like Loyola and Calvert Hall that carries 50 kids on their varsity roster. Parents ignore the other 50-60 on JV and Fresh soph because, "Sonny will make it." He doesn't. The kid gets buried on JV, and then quits or is cut by the time they are juniors. Oh well. The good news is the parents can always complain here.

Dear Annapolis Lacrosse, Please play to win. Stop playing players with family ties. The politics surrounding Annapolis lacrosse are out of control. I never expected MSJ and JC to have a better MIAA record than Severn and STM. Or maybe JC and MSJ just have better teams this season. I'm the opposite of whatever you call a Spalding fan, but it's been clear since at least the recruitment of the 2027s 18 months ago that the hierarchy for "great" and "good" AA county athletes is Spalding>STM>Severn. This is true for the 2028s as well, as the best Hawks kids are headed to Spalding and BL, the decent Hawks and Clippers kids are headed to DC privates and St. Marys (some of whom are leaving Severn, new DC players are leaving St Marys also), and Severn is picking up public school kids (Broadneck and Sev Park) and a few Catholic school kids pretty strictly from AA County.

The good news is the parents can always complain here. The elitist BS needs to stop. Its like BL, McD & CHC should never lose-even when they paly each other it should end in a tie... Everybody else is mediocre or bad. As far the visions of grandeur, that starts with the parents not looking at all 11 schools when deciding. Due to logistics, legacy, tuition cost, academic interest etc.. the list will be narrowed. Then you have to be realistic and figure out if and where he can actually see the field and be developed as a player. That may mean a little longer commute, but be open. Watch out for the coach BS meter that will promise you the world just because he does not want you going somewhere else. Please note: BL & CHC only play about 18 tops off of the 50 man-some games less. There is treasure that would benefit other schools from player 19-30. The rest will never see the field. I use to put Loyola into this same category because they are a 50 man roster as well-but not recently based on recruiting. McD's roster is not a 50 man and the fall off is drastic after the top 13 or so play. By getting more talent on the field the whole league becomes more competitive. Parents if you do not follow this blueprint to some degree please don't come on here and complain about your bad experience.

LB has gone soft. They look SWEET in there "Nike gear packs" they payed 500 bucks for. Hopefully the AD can steer the program in the right direction with the new "equal playing time idea". LB parents just take the cake sometimes. #1 this is prep school and anybody who told you it would be "fair" or a "meritocracy" did not tell the truth, and you should know better by this age. In fact you (we) are *paying* for aspects of privilege and education that on their face are not fair to equally deserving kids elsewhere. You can't be mad about it, only when it doesn't benefit your family. Second, also by this age you should be familiar with the concept of "meet the new boss, same as the old boss." Why did you LB moms get so fired up to think that the new AD meant your underperforming, non-off-season-training boys would suddenly get playing time? LB Mom Logic: Old AD & Lax staff: OMG they're playing the kids of alumni and family friends! Alumni Dad coaches are dictating unfair playing time! New AD & Lax staff: OMG they're playing the kids of different alumni! Ugh but also talking about equal playing time! Old AD: OMG the UA gear is pathetic and the JV and middle school team uniforms and gear are embarrassing, non matching and piece meal. New AD: OMG we have to pay ($300/year) for nice, branded Nike gear to make sure our athletes are wearing the same shade of blue on any given day. Why do we have to pay for everything? Y'all are insufferable.
