Truth? Truth is ML isn’t in as bad of shape as their trolls would like to think and DCE seems to be struggling. Tell me that isn’t the truth.

Madlax is not impressive and hasn't been since summer 2022. You cant judge improving after losing 11 kids who had been there for years....then winning a B tournament.....in the Fall to legitimately anything in the past. Nobody believes this CM (or likely old True goalie dad) nonsense. Is the FO kid from Michigan going to come for every game this spring? Maybe he can play Supremes to since nobody in the DMV is including a sizeable portion of the ML Cap players.

BTW who is #47 playing for the rest of the Fall and spring....red hots, MOJOs or his school in VA?

Number of kids from those unimpressive ML teams now on DCE, correct? That might explain their unimpressive start.

Here is a fact. ML beat this weekend a much better ranked team than the teams that beat DCE two weekends ago.

Pretty funny. Madlax rolls over B and C teams in an Aloha event and they’re somehow flashing their gums at the kids who could really care less.

Meanwhile, they’ve chickened out from 2 chances to play DCE. What’s the problem, Madlax??? Why don’t you want to play DCE?? If you’re ever going to beat them, it would be right now when they’re trying to figure out who is who on the roster. Instead— you literally CHICKENED OUT from the opportunity to see theM this past Sunday (you signed up originally, then bailed out when DCE signed up) and then your clown coach pressured his guys at PrimeTime to blackball 13 year olds from NAL.

13 year olds…..now that’s funny almost as funny has DCE trying to figure who is who on the roster. Half their team was on the “not impressive” ML roster so you’d think they would know who is who. # EXCUSES #TRUTH

Pretty sure that it is a dad that left and went to DCE and now wants to prove himself by playing Madlax. If they do actually play each other, it will be ugly on both sides of the field...

You can’t take any mad lax games seriously basically at any level because moreso than any other club and any other HoCo team, you have NO clue who is playing that day or who is on the field. It changes constantly and CM will bring in whoever he can to win a game. So they beat this team or that team? Who cares - the fact that his own ‘official’ super team is not taking off here is so ironic because he originated that concept and has been implementing it for years across the board. And he smart - he has had 3 kids go through madlax and owns the club - if you think he doesn’t have spare helmets to give these randoms you’re fool.

Thank you for that information. I had a feeling player authenticate was a joke. It was very obvious which teams had true 12,13-14 year olds. And which teams had 14-15 year olds.

As long as it makes their kids look better.

This is elite level 8th grade lacrosse, which means roughly 1/3 of the kids are holdbacks, 1/3 are on age but hit puberty early and can compete physically with the holdbacks, and 1/3 are very skilled on age kids, but lack the size and athleticism (for now) to keep up with kids in the first two categories. If your son is in the third category he can embrace the challenge and work harder, or drop down to the division below elite, where he will do great. But there ain’t no use in complaining, that’s just how it is.

You can bet 1/3 of the rosters will change before high school with Elite and AAA teams. After that the playing field is even.

Then explain why Madlax CAPITAL is playing in the same tournament as Annapolis Hawks GREEN on November? Now that is not impressive.

This is spot on. I would add that a lot of the kids in the first category will peek very early and will be completely irrelevant by junior year in high school. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. The kids who hit puberty in six grade and were dominant, stopped growing in eighth grade and they got lapped

Hawks and Crabs in same tourney this weekend and don’t play each other……weak!!!!

He's a good player, nice kid, and still plays for Madlax. The team is not as good as it was but they still have some good players.

That's typical of years prior. HOCO teams not playing each other in the fall. Not much is earned by playing the same teams over and over. I do see that Madlax, DCE and Hawks are all in the same bracket next weekend in Annapolis though. That should be interesting.

that is smart. DCE would kill Madlax, but would get killed by the Hawks. both games would be a waste of time and painful to watch.

DCE Black isn't doing Fall Brawl this weekend, they're doing the Inside Lacrosse Cup on 11/12 (instead of NAL...). 3D Georgia Red, Mad Dog Nat Gold, Next Level Blue, WCS Navy, Team 91 (Charlotte and MD versions). Prob similar level of comp as Fall Brawl but below NAL.

This entire narrative is false. DCE Black isn’t ducking anyone though- they were never slated to play in this, it was always the Orange team.

This makes me laugh... ML is doing whatever it can to avoid NL and/or DCE.

DCE Black was signed up for NAL, but ML raised a [Censored] about the 2028 team and they got pushed out...

But it is only fall and teams are trying to get all figured out with new kids. This spring should be fun!

DCE is but the schedule says Hawks Green - isn’t that the A team? It looks like ML is scheduled to play them so maybe they’re not trying to see DCE or NL, but - and I’m not a ML parent - it’s hard to say that they’re ducking top competition if they’re playing the Hawks A team.

I'm not a Hawks parent, but it's interesting that that team seems to be so good that it's effectively reached escape velocity and is just above the fray at this point.

ML, DCE, and NL are the local trifecta for 8th grade and up. Hawks aren’t local and along the lines of previous poster, at least as of last year they usually beat everyone they play so that just is what it is.

It’s a hogan tournament, as in the hogan that started the hawks. Not suprising they are playing at their own tournament. So no credit to ML for playing another B level tourney. The mental gymnastics performed my ML people here to justify ducking NL and DCE is impressive.
