91 empire - trying again, no coaches announced

East Coast Elite - fairly new team, 2 20 something coaches, no travel, big lull in practices before the spring

Express East - according to ranking website they only have 3 games played?

GSB - Connor Farrell l, above average b team

Legacy Dune Dawgs - good head coach - decent b team

Legacy East - lesser b team

Rebels East Gators - not a competitive team 2-22-1

Rush - trying to start up a b team again, legit coaching staff

Turtles - trying to start again

My guess is that ECE, GSB, Legacy 2 teams and Rush would be the safest bets for B teams in the East

This is not true. All kids were legit. Someone started the rumor at the series. Probably a team that didn’t belong to be there. They were just that good. Deal with it.

No wonder 2Way isn’t in the NAL or NLF.

If this is true it’s completely ridiculous and yet somehow not surprising - which says a lot for 2Way as a program. I’m glad they got waxed in the final.

Why were all the kids chanting “cheaters” at them?

Thank god they got smacked in the final.

At this age, playing is all that matters, esp. as tryouts get close. Plenty of college kids home to train with too, or you can just sit back and watch your superstar’s WS highlights.

At this age, the kid enjoying playing lacrosse and not being forced to practice by a dad who is living his failed lacrosse dreams through him is all that matters

Both valid points. If the kid does not enjoy playing then with are you doing.. Playing time on a team is the number one factor. If your kid is not a starter or a regular and key piece of the team than you are wasting time and money.

Now turtles looking to make an east team. They couldn’t make a regular 28 team last year not sure what intel is telling them there is a big market for east but maybe they know something.

Not sure why hydra is under east they were always regular rebels. But the other rebels east team did not fair too well. I don’t believe the legacy/express east teams had much success either.

Someone posted above about 17 teams or so on the island.
And now add true to the mix. Too many teams, so watered down imo.

Anyone going to true tryouts?

The biggest fail by far was express East, avoid at all costs, followed up by rebels east (non hydra)

One particular PA team had 14 year olds playing at World Series.

This is fact.

illegal kids played - and will continue to play. Clubs and parents always will cheat.

Express just beat Surge 10-1 @ Gauntlet so you need to be realistic with your sons level of play.

We played them last summer, and they had two 2027 kids who they claimed “were gonna reclass to the 2028 class“ but never did. But because they said they would, they played down. Was thrilled to see Madlax thump them the next game, with their 2027’s. That is CHEATING. And it’s hard to pull for Madlax.

Well, we just watched a totally different Freedom team whip up on MadLax today in a short-time final than the team we saw at the WS last week. So, by deduction, you’re complaining about Duke’s… who finished in 9th… this is what keeps you up at night?

Proof or are you just talking nonsense? If they were to put 14 year olds on the team why not just keep the holdbacks they already have on their team instead?

Considering this is BOTC - how exactly would you want proof produced?

Agreed. Delusional talk from a misinformed, uneducated parent. All talk when the coaches have access to Player Authenticate, just ask 2Way. Make the inquiry. Post the results.

2 way kids were changing jersey. If they were not cheating why change jerseys.

Didn’t intend to imply they were cheating, but just that they were checked and confirmed. As noted, there was an abnormality, it was explained and confirmed through the supplied documentation. End of story.

Or we can just make baseless accusations.

NLF tournament is a sinking ship. 91 and Express block all LI clubs from attending. Getting a lot of blowback and Venom now not even attending.

Smoke and mirrors from Express North. Lost several times in qualifiers. Lost this last weekend to Prime Time, who has barely won all summer. Somehow managed to beat BBL, Venom, and 2WAY. North cheated at LWSC championship. Shameful and disappointing for everyone involved. LWSC is seriously looking into this.

Wow. Eclipse or Prime Time parent really showing their true colors here. 2WAY followed all the rules and did great. Every team there competed hard and played fair. Funny to see complaints about 2WAY when their best players this year plaid up (not down) and were amongst their best players on last year's world series team. Nice posts Eclipse dads. 10 boys from your 2027 team are re-classing to 2028s. New Canaan has gone fool. Eclipse is now the worst offender of re-classing. Worse than 3D New England, Madlax, and everyone else. A whole 2028 squad with 2008 and 2009 birth year boys. Way to go Eclipse.

Replying to the parent of the ‘AA player’ asking about tryouts who thinks his kid can play for Express, Venom or Surge….Surge is not in the same category buddy!

Venom canceled the rest of the season after losing in the playoffs at the WS…sore losers didn’t even announce their team and walk in the parade of teams at the championship game, yet many players and at least 1 coach were at the game. Canceled all remaining practices, backed out of last 2 tournaments….trouble in paradise Venom? I hope 91 at least gave everyone a $500 credit for pulling out of 2 tournaments that they paid for. One of the coaches watched the entire Express/Surge game this weekend…maybe recruiting Surge players to pull up or looking to move his kid to Express?

They don’t usually play these types of teams. They didn’t do much worse than teams like igloo, primetime, legacy, predators that go against those top teams.
I’m a believer you have to play tough teams to get better. Why are you mad bro

They hung with some tough teams. Nothing to be ashamed about, unlike people who anonymously take shots on middle school lacrosse threads.

I heard this too, but think it's just rumors after North's poor performance this weekend. How did they cheat?
