is it really though? the Top LI teams at this age will be just fine and have all their much more meaningful (if any in the fall are) tournaments over the next few weekends

Queen is a local fun tourney. ….although…overall comp was better this year. Real ones start soon…but…still fall ball people.

I know most of you commenting this is your oldest daughter. I can’t help but laugh. You’ll see very soon the wins/losses mean nothing. Most of your competition will be players on your own team for spots at the best showcases. The director/coach can only promote so many players. Maybe you’re lucky and at a top high school program.

If anything, this is a positive for the tourney-- competition level was as high as its ever been. Maybe if this keeps up, top LI teams would start playing in it.

But does anyone here seriously think that YJA or FLG wouldn't have easily gone undefeated if they entered?

How does Jesters compare to Legacy, Top Guns, Empire, etc at the 2027 level?

Looking at their scores from 21-22, lots of big improvement from fall to summer.

TG, Jesters A teams are pretty equal empire is a bit behind talent wise but people do seem to like how it that organization is run..
Once you get to the secondary teams, (Jesters AA team no idea what that is about) TG Purple teams are better than most of the other clubs second teams... aside from Yellow Jackets for the 27 level

Jesters 27 black team is solid. Way better than empire. Legacy is ok. Both jesters and legacy have improved over last few years. Top gun is a very good program every year. 27 team will be better this year. They were good last year.

Jesters is not as good as TG, but at the same level or a bit better than Liberty. Also probably pretty close to YJB.

Legacy doesn't have the talent, but is very well coached. They also run a zone alot which can disrupt teams who have never seen it. Their best performance last year was a 1-goal loss to Eagle Stix.

Empire is well below every other club mentioned here, at least at the 27 level.

If I had to guess, here is where these teams will end this years rankings.

YJ A -- Top 5
TG A -- Around 15
Jesters -- Around 20
YJB -- mid 20s
Liberty -- high 20s, low 30s
Legacy -- top 40
Empire -- 70s or 80s

Based on your assessment and analysis you must have FLG Navy outside the top 100.

No. They should be somewhere between 10-15 by end of year.

Jesters 27' will finish top 12. Not as good as YJ A but not far behind.

At 3-4, are you saying they are jumping Aces, YJ, M&D, Hero's Eaglestix....teams like that?

Whoever omitted them from the earlier rankings just doesn’t know any better, but to be in the top three or four also seems like a reach. More likely than that they will be in the 8 to 15 slot by the end of the year.

This is the funniest thing I’ve ever read but when you play in bad tournaments vs teams ranked in the 100s and win by 10-20 goals maybe your team will be ranked 3-4.

Yes Jesters did buy liberty. It seems hush hush for now but we have been told by multiple sources involved in the deal including danielle.

The original poster and some others seem to be non FLG people who are trying to stir things up. FLG Navy will do just fine in the rankings wherever they finish. It’s about time they get some recognition and respect amongst the top teams as they can hang with all of them - not necessarily beat them, but will be very competitive.

Well, Jesters beat Hero’s Green today, so they must be halfway decent.

They had a great day and great lax.

Liberty parent and have been hearing Danielle trying to sell for two years now, so everyone knew it was coming. But how exactly does this unfold now?

Jesters bought liberty?

Most clubs when they merge let the other club keep its name and teams. They may bring in a new director....but honestly given how checked out libertys management is itll be great for the girls. Any predictions who will take over?

The real question is, do they try to create a mega team between the two clubs? If they do, would the Nassau girls want to travel to Suffolk to practice?

Saw them play, they have size, play hard, and get to the FP line. They are dependent on how refs will call the game, they def get yellow cards with aggressive style but it wasn't out of control. They very much belong in the top-10 conversation and I think they could beat YJ A on the right day.

Their pressure defense caused issues for all teams they played today.

Power move by Jesters and with their showing this weekend, they will be overtaking FLG Navy and quite possibly YJA by end of summer.
