No more parent coaches on the girls side please! Maybe when they in elementary and middle, but once they are entering 9th grade the parents gotta go. Too much conflict of interest always protecting the coaches kid and giving their name to coaches first even when undeserving

Here's a big one: got back to september/october tryouts. There is NO reason to be having tryouts for next year when this summer is still going on.
There is nothing really from August to November anyway

Respect and consideration for multi sport athletes. No 11 yr old needs to be on the field 7 days a week.

1) create a very basic roster/ carding process to be checked before games. It would eliminate / limit guest players and ensure everyone on the Field is the same age.
2) For 4K there out to be some sort of league play- so for example 91s A team could play Express A team. No trip to Maryland necessary.

To the point of a “league” - great. Also- more scrimmaging between clubs, and possibly throw in set situations, like forced man up/down or clears, to prevent all the “looky-loos” from coming on here and pumping their chests.

There is nothing really from August to November anyway Although I agree with you, it is changed forever and not going to change. Every club now trying to lock up kids as early as possible. Tryouts, commitments and deposits within a 24 hour window before July is even over. Tournaments and tryouts have killed family summers and vacations. If you're lucky you'll get a few weeks to enjoy the summer before the kids are back to school. If the kids are playing football they'll be back at it late August. Money, money, money.

I'm so shocked about inability in running the business portion of an established boys program. My son tired out last week (Thursday) and decisions were to be completed by Sunday. The program as 4 teams (grades) in the top 20 and another 2 teams (grades) within the top 40, of USCL's 2021-2022 rankings. So, they know how to recruit and develop good teams.
But yet, they have not yet finalized the invitations. Some returning parents have expressed that this has been the norm for years.
How long do programs usually take to make offers?
Our only other experience involved my now college kid and his offer was made the SAME DAY as the last call-back tryout.

Our only other experience involved my now college kid and his offer was made the SAME DAY as the last call-back tryout. One reason can be that they will cut former players. They will send out an email to the new players the team is looking to add and see if they were gonna commit. They do this so they don't cut kids loose before they know if the new one will be joining.
