How long do programs usually take to make offers?

Our only other experience involved my now college kid and his offer was made the SAME DAY as the last call-back tryout.


One reason can be that they will cut former players. They will send out an email to the new players the team is looking to add and see if they were gonna commit. They do this so they don't cut kids loose before they know if the new one will be joining.
