Playing lacrosse in Florida in January - agreed - it sounds pretty good.

Disagree. This is the normal “offseason” for lacrosse, what is the value of it? A couple of extra games in December? Aside from the time spent, money spent, stress from travel at the busiest time of year, and health risk taken on - so great your 11 yr old got a few extra games?

Florida was great, outside, pool, warm weather and my son played some lacrosse. Not bad if you ask me!

No one forced anyone to go. Lax, sun, pool and some time away sounds good. I am jealous.. Stay in your basement..

Express teams should have stayed home. Very poor showing against better competition from all over.

What a bunch of haters!! I’ve got 2 boys and a girl playing lax and if I said you guys wanna go down to FL this weekend to play a tournament, they’d have their gear at the door in 10 mins!!! Some kids REALLY like to play lacrosse, don’t detest.. that’s probably such a fun trip!! Even if they get beat the whole team can shake it off at the pool after and have fun.

Mom? Not even close. How about a lax Dad that knows the sport and knows what athletes look like. Unlike most of the Dads on this site that are frustrated athletes that never made it in high school and our trying to live their glory days through their sons. I am also talking about the legit Venom goalie that has been there since the beginning, not the new backup.
