As a 2024 parent I’m curious how many college coaches are watching your games at tourneys this Fall. And are they still mostly D1 coaches or is it switching to D2 and D3 now at presidents cup? Just trying to get a feel for how this all works. Thanks in advance! There were a lot of coaches at 23 games but also a lot at 24 games. Top tier d1 are done and watching 24s. Mostly d2 d3 on 23 sidelines for our team at least. Having the 23s and 24s play at different complexes (40 min apart) on Sat & Sun sure didn't help the coaches' ability to watch both years. 24 parent here- we had schools like syracuse, BU, Umass etc at our games 24 parent here- we had coaches watching Saturday and no coaches on Sunday… think they were at other field Sunday watching the 23s? Sunday was a waste as far as recruiting showcase goes. Could have went home. Long weekend, They need to shorten it to two days of play. We had a few Sunday but not as much as the other two days

Just trying to get a feel for how this all works. Thanks in advance! The turnout for our games was pretty bad. Whether is was due to the fields being a distance apart or our games which were scheduled later in day. Most of the coaches disappeared by Saturday night and no shows for Sunday. Tons of coaches watching the 25s on Sunday.

Had to watch a year early… ummmm … prob. Not! Those were parents sitting in the white chairs!! Lol

You must not have been in the top tier. Coaches were out. Saw them at Yellow Jackets, Monster ,Capital games. We played near th Fla Seect and M&D and there were a few dozen jammed there.

Another 24 parent here.. What recruiting platform(s) should my daughter focus on. Other parents on our team have mixed opinions, just wanted to get the take from those here. FYI, She is on one of the better teams (not "top tier"). There seems to be new ones that pop up, but If someone can mention the few that coaches really seem to use as their hammerhead that would help us a great deal. Thank you all.

Sports Recruits. Coaches go there first. But send from your own email too.

Talk to your clubs Recruiting Director. It’s most important to use her preferred platform since she’ll be the person talking to clubs on your behalf before September Plenty of good options none really better than another. Sports recruits most popular.

If not, try to find someone who can give an honest, informed assessment of your daughter's recruitability. This is a combination of skills, Lax IQ, size, speed and desire for financial help. Then target 20 or so schools. Starting writing to their coaches and plan to attend some of their camps in December and this summer. To be totally honest, it is more difficult if you don't have anyone advocating on your behalf before contact day, but it can still be done. One key difference for your daughter though is that her offers will likely be more linked to camp or showcase performance than her performance on her club team. Meaning -- you will need to spend a lot more time and $$ driving to camps;

Thank you all. Good to see agreement among parents here. I was confused about the SR and CL too. So the merger clears that up.

YJ, Jesters, TG, Legacy are the most invested in the girls. If you have time to go, go now.
