So, they’ve yet to play a game, but they’re the top program in Baltimore— and many clubs up there “feeling the effect.” Getting comical... so, Preds coaches and Dads— where will we see you this fall? Which tournaments? The rest of Baltimore and surrounding area will need to get some rest and a proper breakfast that morning, apparently. Preds will be eating Humble Pie....

Preds PPL - anyone care to post the fall tournaments?

Are the 28s who reclassed to play for Crabs heading back to 28 since the team folded, or is it too late to notify schools?

Crickets... I’m guessing the Preds enter a few B level events, 3 rungs below Elite to really show off their prowess as the “top team in Baltimore.”

Someone is getting nervous about Predators, Your team lose a few players to them? Relax , your team wasnt the only one. Heard a couple teams will be avoiding them in Fall. Take that for whats its worth .

All the Preds trolling is from non-Preds trolls, unless someone up at the NY Preds office is just intent on providing locker room material for other clubs.

The Preds 2027, 2028, and 2029 rosters are, top to bottom......respectable. Not sure if there is a 2026 or 2030 team. From what I've seen, mostly private school kids who have worked out together (FCL, camps) and "know each other" but there is zero culture and zero team dynamic and zero history to make predictions on. Yet. From what little I have seen of those squads (2 tryouts days) they don't (yet) have a system in place to be competitive at the Elite level. Even if there is a great system, how would the kids know it yet?

For now it's just kids who can play and a LOT of coaches. It is up to the almighty HoCo but I'd be surprised to see any Preds squad in elite next spring unless it's an arbitrary HoCo decision. Spring 2023 may be a different story. Who the heck knows.

Nope, didn’t lose any players to the Preds. “Couple teams avoiding them in the fall.” That’s funny. You still haven’t told us all where you’re going to be wreaking havoc on the mid Atlantic 2028’s, where will it be? Not only will we NOT be avoiding them, but we’d relish the opportunity to serve it.

Which team will be serving it? So we can keep score at home and know which parents/coaches are talking smack.

Preds will be respectable but certainly not elite next year. Likely AA or maybe AAA. All this fake smack talk from preds, mad lax, next level, etc is clearly just troll banter. And really kinda tiresome.

What tournaments are "worthwhile" in the fall? Few if ANY teams know where they are playing this fall yet.

Boooo, the Preds chatter was actually a breathe of fresh air after the incessant name calling back and forth between Hawks, ML, and NL folks, the seashores beaten holdback topic, etc.

Lots of good events this fall, but maybe just the Elite teams are playing. MD Invitational at Blandair, Adrenaline Gold Cup, Atlantic Showcase, Battle on the Bay, etc

Exactly, parents ruin sports for kids and this is prime examples. They are 11/12 year old boys. Just let them play.

Koopers felt the hit of new teams and is still looking to fill out their roster.

Not to bring up the up and coming new Club Predators, but many Koopers left for you know who.

This is a first year team. I don’t care for the politics of children’s sports.. we chose our tryouts based on teams that don’t have those toxic parents. Apparently they are the status quo though. We would rather go back to rec than play with families that may be toxic

Rec parents are worse, treat the coaches worse, and are worse to the officials who coach rec games. Ask any rec official.

Did Koopers even have a 2028 team? If so, what level were they playing last year at HoCo. I don’t recall seeing them.

They did not have a team last year. This is a new team. The director of Koopers is the coach and Koopers is a great organization!

That is proper English. I do not care about new teams. Just putting it out there that there are other options available for those on 30 man rosters.

Koopers did not field a 2028 team last season. The 2028 age group has less kids it’s seems than other age groups. Many 2028 teams folded this year.

2028 is not even listed on their website. My understanding is Kooper’s is still looking for players because they don’t have enough currently. If you know a 2028 kid still looking, send them over to Kooper’s. Probably a B level team this year so you can probably be a rec level player and join team.

They aren't saying because it's a cupcake schedule. If you aren't playing in the highest division at NAL this fall against LI teams and ML or the Hawks elsewhere... or Nationals at Adrenaline in DE, you lose the right to talk smack in this forum.

I’d bet there would be more 28 teams in hoco in the spring than last season.
