Hey if you want to major in lacrosse than a big time D1 program is for you where its 5-6 hours a day and a major that is suggested by the coach (for most kids). The question will always be what type of balance do you want between lax/school/social. Do you just want to play? Do you want to be the "girl" on a lesser team and play as a freshman or put in crazy hours at Maryland to ride the bench? We balked at the $14k being offered from a $60k school based on our families financials. So now she just plays, is in a soriety has an internship and is enjoying her college experience.
