Most all the top 2026 recruits (except a few MD girls) will be at American Select just like the last 2 years. Big recruiting summer event for 2026's next summer, a lot of $ to spend for the younger age groups. NB All American Senior game invite is huge honor, but the recruiting year tournament has jumped the shark, most affordable. Flip those 2 on the list above.

IL ID is mostly done by committed girls, good event, don't need to spend the money if it doesn't fit within the budget. Best in Class seems to get a few more coaches than Juniors Open, both get good exposure. UA 150 may be worth it if you feel your daughter will shine in the combine, lost it's luster recently.

LI will also have a lot of 26s at AA. DMV girls will want to go to AA to save money. Coaches a plenty at the recruiting age games. Remember, many of the head coaches go to the AA Senior Game for their seniors on Saturday evening and the awards ceremony.

Also remember that American Select has been reduce from 3 days to 1 1/2 days this year (and moved) to a weekend.

Not sure the new format, but heard it will be fewer, shorter games due to field availability and trying to get into the recruiting window.

No idea if it will impact quality of coaches who attend and/or quality of players who compete

Not sure I understand why you have All American is #1, other than being the cheapest.

Other than Baltimore and Upstate NY, the best girls from every other region go to American Select. I can't see how beating a team from Texas or Midwest 19-2 helps showcase talent.

AS is all about getting looks for YJ players. Very few kids from other clubs make the top team and even fewer get a decent amount of playing time.

I don’t agree with Upstate NY’s best not being at AS. Upstate talent splits between the two events depending on which club you play for. Monster for AS and Aces for AA. Upstate 25’s won AS this year, so obviously they had some talent. The next couple grad years for Upstate will probably be a little stronger at AA based on Aces success with those ages.

Tell us you are a YJ parent without telling us you are a YJ parent

THIS!

3 or is it 4 teams for AS from LI with the top team 95% YJ! Seems sketchy to me!
REEKS of a CR money grab for teams 3 & 4 and that top team didnt even win the past 2 AS

Not denying this. The college coach turnout seems to have been better than AA lately though.

Which of the above events are invite only vs. tryout vs. anyone can pay to play?

AS is “tryout” as long as you are NOT YJ then you are “trying out” / donating to CR vacay fund

Do AS and AA still overlap? UA150 and Juniors Open conflict - how do you choose?

AA & AS overlap. Unfortunately if you arent part of the club that is in control of either (YJ for AS & Jesters for AA) your choice is kinda made for you based on spots that are leftover but tryouts are held months apart so that is also a factor
