McDonogh was crossed off the list for my kids when all that stuff went down in the dorms a few years back. Apparently, the "very troubling situation involving several Upper School students that is profoundly disappointing and unacceptable" is a regular occurence there. When I researched it, more than one incident was in the news.

LOL. Here we go again. You make a comment and someone assumes you failed at something . Moving on.. I know enough about McWokeness School that I would not even waste the time applying there-Why? My kidAttends another MIAA school. Focus on the topic of the culture of the school that is being discussed not where people that write on thread send their kids or if their kids play for a club that a comment is made about. The school is left of left.

Anyone seen a roster for the mslca senior all star game?

Game is supposed to be Wed, but it doesn’t look like anyone has updated the website in over a year.

When do they normally announce the all senior rosters and all state team?

Police show up for a days-then they are gone and the check book comes out and the NDA's are signed and it goes away until the next time. There have been multiple times.

Have not seen any all county teams either. Baltimore Howard or Anne Arundel Counties

AA County Coaches all county was released. The Capital has not put theirs out yet. That one includes St Marys, Severn, Spalding, Indian Creek, AACS, etc.

Obviously you don't have a kid that goes there. What the earlier post said is true, McDonogh is "FAMILY". Believe what you want, you do what is right for your family. In the end it is and has been a great school for my kids - even without the competitive lacrosse (although it is nice).

They sent the list of jersey numbers of those who made it today. I’m not sure when/if names get posted.

The UA list is a joke, some of the players are deserving but not all!

You would think that the counties and coaching associations that recognize kids who played great all year would let people know who they are recognizing. Is it that hard to post the list to their websites or twitter?

Any D1 players on the list ? SP attack man just goes to show how down AACO public lax is and as a whole so is the public lax in Maryland

Local Nike teams are picked before the tryouts. If you aren’t contacted prior your wasting your time at the tryout.

You forgot SP goalie. Unless he goes straight to the PLL or Olympics or straight to Hall of Fame

Public kids play a weaker all around schedule during the season - the private kids have a more hardened schedule, each game is a battle.

Not the case. I haven't gone through the list recently, but know of at least one non-NLF kid asked to be on Nike senior team. Probably more.

Stock has probably drop some. Has not really face many top offensive teams or good shooting teams. No real competition in public

Not an MIAA parent, but seems to me like they got this right. Great bunch of players.

Best MIAA JV would beat Public School Champ. Would be close but MIAA JV would have too much depth and talent for PS to keep up.

Public Schools would destroy Gilman, StJ and JC.

Umm soo what showcase is good? All 3 of those are very good and very competitive. UA is still the best one with the highest level of competition. FreeState and Nike are both fun and highly recruited by all levels of college.
