Saw that youth SW tryouts are 6 days. Is this real? Do girls really need to go all 6 days?

Doubtful, probably only the first three days or second three days.

Is there really going to be any movement? If you arent happy is your kid really that good or are you living through your kids?

What?? The idea of tryouts is for many different situations. Maybe there are good players on non top tier clubs that want to move to continue to get better etc. Or go to a club where they have friends, lots of situations. If someone is trying out for a better club, they have a pretty good idea of what it will take.

This is typically the summer with the most movement. Much harder to move after this summer.

Not true. I heard a 2026 M&D black team cut 10 people last year.

Why do the 2028 Girls parents feel like they are so special that they need a thread for every topic....

It wasn't 10. It was closer to 4 or 5 being cut plus a couple of benchwarmers left. Also, remember that due to covid, tryouts in the year before were more limited.

M&D needs to pick up some speed!! Coppermine is going to lose some players to soccer. SW will drop your kid, once a kid from out of state wants to come and play. Hero's will pick up girls from Montgomery county. MDU usually falls apart about 7/8th grade.

False. It was closer to 10.

Yup and the coaches told the girls during a tourney behind the bleachers. My daughter was playing on the field at the time and I watched every girl either look happy or devastated. Still can’t believe M and D handled it like they did.

I do like the idea of coaches telling my daughter personally, as opposed to an email to me. Odd to do it in the middle of a tournament, but that coach probably knows what she is doing considering SPSG will finish #1 in the country two years in a row.

Man, M&D must just be the worst, look at their track record.

This is totally irrelevant to 2028 tryouts. It’s not like it’s club policy to make cuts behind bleachers.
