Uh oh, what happened?

A completely unnecessary big hit that was clearly high. 10 seconds left in the game. For what? Cheap shot. Should result in a suspension.

Not the end all be all fogo who never retaliates when he loses a face off! Say it ain’t so!
Classless as usual.

He’s scrappy and fights for every possession. I wouldn’t call that retaliation; I would call that hard work. He will be fun to watch at Gilman.

Hawks parents really can't take a loss quietly. This wasn't even a close game. If a hit was suspension worthty - there would be a suspension. Get a better defense!

Watch your tape coach; hit was far from dirty and wasn’t even to the head. Horrible clear by the goalie which lead the kid into the hit.

Biggest difference between Hawks and Crabs - Hawks Defense is Big and Slow, Crabs Defense is Big, Athletic and Fast. Crabs were more physical as well on both offense and defense. Great game to watch.

Saw the end of the game. Very cheap, blindside, unnecessary hit up by 7 with the clock running out. Not a lacrosse play or even borderline. When I came up hitting someone while they were looking was cool. That was about as dirty as it gets and should warrant a suspension.

Crabs are just plain dirty. Hoco should do something; it’s time to treat those crabs with some antibiotics!

Watch the video. Never came close to his head and literally backed into him. Soft penalty called by the ref 30 yards away and not by the one 5 ft away.

The D needs to be faster and much more physical and offense needs some playmakers. Crabs will dominate this year.

Not a cheap shot at all. Just ask the 91 goalie about the beat down he got from #13

Hope the Hawks kids enjoy Old Mill North with that coach moving in. Their rein on top was as short as the coach when it came time for X's and O's and talent evened out.

Are there any ML players looking for a new team?

Why would any elite team want MadLax players? Maybe AAAA or AAA are looking. LOL.

Yup, not just the losses but the low class and toxic environment. DCE and VLC will be the good HS teams for this class.

What is this the NFL? Kid was going for the ball on the clear and they met of the point of contact. Hope the kid is ok but there was nothing illegal about the hit.

It was definitely a dirty, unnecessary hit. That kid is known to play dirty. Heard he jumped the 91 goalie at Gilman and got suspended.

Last week and it looks like the Crabs and Hawks have locked up the top 2 Seeds unless DCE can get hot against True on Friday and Hawks on Saturday. Winning out would give them the #2 seed.

Playoff Seeding

Crabs
Hawks
DCE
VLC
True
Madlax

DCE dad here - the team still has a lot of gelling to do. Good talent but needs to play together more. This team will be top notch in a year of so.

So much for looneys. They have now lost to all of the other teams that were in the playoff for elite. Lots of grumbling from parents about who is staying past the spring.

They look much weaker than last year, while Top Caliber and Next Level look much better than last year.

Hawks players aren’t going anywhere. Let’s not forget that they won HoCo every other year. It took Crabs bringing in their 2025 Stealth buddies to beat Hawks. Why don’t they play again with real rosters and let’s see how things go then.

We played against the loonies. The parents and the kids were nothing but class the way they behaved. Some of the adults who are mocking them on this forum could take a lesson from that. There is more to life than 8th grade lacrosse, and the kids know that they may not be at elite anymore but they were out there playing their butts off, competing, and we'll do very well when they get to high school. No one really cares at this point which 8th grade team has the most D1 prospects. But I will say that it is nice to think about which kids your children will be going to school with in both high school and college, and the way they behaved was exemplary.

What happened to this team? They went from winning the Fall League to falling apart a year later.

What happened to big and loud. Now it's crying and excuses. Hawks parents ready to roll. When Spalding announces current Hawks coach is coming on board the parents already fed up with him will be gone, especially ones without kids going to Spalding When the extent of your offense was telling your son to "run em" and it no longer works. Parents get annoyed.

Looney’s had several starters hurt last week with back issues. There was no reason to push through it. The team already made the playoffs.

It’s 8th grade lax which will mean nothing here by July.
