Yeah, let’s fly across the country with only part of our team and get our heads kicked in. But at least we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Rehobeth for $299.

Loving the new WCS chatter. Some new fodder is great fir this board. Folks, the idea of an anonymous board is that you can talk smack, troll a bit, and get a good laugh here and there. Relax. The DMV / Baltimore has the best lacrosse in the 2028 grade level (notice I did not reference age). Will be great to get team 91 Venom on the tourney mix, as they have been absentee all but NLF, where they lost to the Hawks in July. Probably a great team, they certainly are at the older age groups.

Anyway— WCS are legit, whether they come from 28 or 33 states, I’m not sure. Likely a lot of CA, UT, TX, and Seattle kids. We want our kids to play the best competition, amd they will be one of those teams bringing it.

West Coast Starz is the premiere national club lacrosse program west of the Mississippi. Since its inception in 2006, WCS has been the #1 club in the West and has produced more NCAA players than any other club program in the country. The club has also produced countless NCAA All Americans and a Tewaarton award winner. West Coast Starz begins in sixth grade and runs through senior year of high school. Rosters are made up of the most elite players of strong character and academic prowess who aspire to play at the collegiate level. Players join WCS by participating in a formal tryout, are recommended by local and college coaches, and are evaluated at Adrenaline events over the year by the Adrenaline Evaluation Team (AET). WCS players compete in the nation’s top summer/fall recruiting events against the best clubs in the country where they receive the ultimate collegiate exposure.

Straight from the horse’s mouth. Regardless, they are able to round up 25 great athletes. They’re definitely not as skilled, but their kids are thorobreads. Big and physical at every grade. But rarely do they every have an impact at the college level. Lot of bench warmers when they head to play collegiately in the East, but clearly their marketing works— their entire teams get recruited to elite D1.

Good slate of teams and best of luck to Madlax, we will make sure to follow you on the gram’

Hawks have beaten everyone in MD. If the Md teams beat up on the NY teams, Hawks will then know they’re actually #1.

Let’s go back a few months when the Hawks were relevant. Who was beating their chest after HoCo?? LMAO

What does this even have to do with anything? ML could lose any of a handful of teams. And probably will at some point. It’s 6th grade.

The post was about *literally* half the country forming a team and chest thumping about *almost* beating a local club.

Even if you’d won how is that an accomplishment?

The only team on here chest thumping is Madlax. And your logic is about as sound as your reasoning. Do you really think WCS is made up of the best players west of the Mississippi? Seriously, do you really think that?

Yep. Tryouts are rather competitive and it’s taken super seriously out west.

Oh, wait, the tryouts are competitive and taken seriously?! Why didn't you say so! You guys are all such dopes. The idea that WCS arrived in Delaware in November with the 20 best 6th graders west of the Mississippi is ridiculous, but you all keep telling yourself that you did something special in beating them. No doubt a great team. Why not just leave it at that? Oh, right, because you're all little men trying to feel big through your children. For the best team in the country you all sure are obnoxious and insecure, but that is the Cab way.

This is your evidence of another team "beating their chest," Cab? You call out kids for celebrating winning a championship and not attending your tournament and the response is a benign comment about the transitive property. That's your evidence? Are you really LYAO? Stick to yelling at your players and stay off the boards.

Lol you sound really jealous. I’m not even a ML parent but this is bordering on obsession.

*Most* ML parents are fine. The coach OTOH has a reputation that’s well deserved - he is all that folks say is.

WCS would get rolled by the Preds. The Preds are the premier national club program west of the Atlantic.

I caught part of a Crabs 28 game this weekend when I was watching my younger son at Fall Brawl. They’ve added a couple of good attackmen, a really good FCA goalie, and I think a new kid at faceoff. I think this is team in Elite most likely to give Hawks and Madlax problems this spring of the FCA, Next Level, True group if they can get less sloppy. Signed, not a Crabs dad.

This is a true statement, but next year when King Crab starts implementing the holdback BS and bringing kids in from out of state you are welcome to come join the Preds. Great coaches from numerous MIAA Schools.

2027 Crabs have always stunk though- so whatever kids defect and reclassed to 2028 Crabs will be non-players. This age group will be a low point for the Crabs for a while

This is good take. HoCo Elite is going to have groups of 2:

Hawks/Madlax up top
Crabs/FCA at 3-4
Next Level/True at 5-6
Bethesda/Kelly Post at 7-8

Just guessing based on personnel. Also, weren’t next level 5th last year? Semi-finals last year was

FCA vs Hawks and Madlax vs Crabs so this isn’t really a change? And Next Level hasn’t exactly set the world on fire this fall . . .

Appreciate the optimism, it’s fun for a chuckle, but this team has a loooooong way to go to even be a AAA team. They lost 15-1 to the first Elite team they played.

“GUARANTEED TO OPEN THE DOOR TO COLLEGIATE LACROSSE FOR THE WESTERN PLAYER”

Can’t help but notice that WCS came all the way out here but then scurried back home without even trying to play Predators. Telling.

WCS would get rolled by the Preds. The Preds are the premier national club program west of the Atlantic.

+ 100 Predators are talk of Baltimore. Best up and coming Club in Balt/DC . Will soon be a powerhouse that will get the same treatment on BOTC that Hawks, Crabs, ML get now. Cant stop the inevitable

Appreciate the optimism, it’s fun for a chuckle, but this team has a loooooong way to go to even be a AAA team. They lost 15-1 to the first Elite team they played.

Yeah the Preds thing is weird. Seems like it came together quick and then suddenly they are getting beat up by ML every weekend. What kind of plan is that.

At the same time, I think people would agree that FCA White. Blue Claws, HLC are good standards for what a competitive but non dominant AAA team should look like. And ML smokes them all on the regular by 10-15+ points. So I am not sure that is a good barometer for non-elite teams.

That is a great point. It was idiotic to put a brand new team with 4 practices, no goalie and FOGO in two elite tournaments out the gate. And how many teams add players to their roster without knowing their skill set, experience, level of play, etc.?

Madlax gonna lose this lawsuit. The legal fees to fight a federal complaint will certainly stink. If they settle, payouts will also be crippling to a small business.

ML parents expect to start seeing less for more every year. Could be the end of Cabel

See you guys at Next Level tryouts next summer. Maybe they’ll become DCE2028 next season

It would be amusing to see, but I have a hard time believing that ML has less cash reserves than Nationals in terms of legal fees.

In terms of the merits of the case, it is premature to say, I wonder what will be revealed in Discovery.

Nationals aren’t paying the attorneys unless they win. ML has to pay to defend, though insurance may cover it.

I detest Cabel more than the next guy but the race thing seems like a stretch.

We played Preds 2028 this fall. Aside from the poor goalie who looked like he was being shot out of a cannon, and the fact that they won 0 FOs using 10 kids........ I don't know....they could pass. They had a couple of decent shots. The poles occasionally woke up and did something other than panicking at being put in a 6v3 drill for the 15th time in the same game. I don't remember them being big.

I would call it the look of decent college football players showing up to scrimmage NFL players. You may have the skill but can you operate in a next level game at full speed? In the case of the Preds, no they cannot.

And guess what, starting over with a 50-100% brand new roster next year will not fix that either. They got 20 kids or whatever who I assume can catch and run laps since it seemed like a bunch of FCA, Crabs, and KP? FH? green helmets. Train them. They stole Koopers practice fields now go beat Koopers for starters. Leave ML to the teams that are actually up to the challenge.

I was at the tourney where the Preds played some elite teams earlier this fall. They aren't very good and not AAA. However, they had a lot of kids for a new venture at the grad-levels I saw. If they can stick together they will be decent and attract more bodies. Did they have the talent to reach Hawks, ML or NL...not from what I saw but that could change. That said, I suspect they could give some of the other clubs like BLC a run for their money by the time spring HOCO rolls around. My 2-cents.

At this time they have some good talent . By next fall they will be a completely different team with the coaches they have, their training and an influx of players from McD,StP,Towson,Etc from other clubs. This Club is on the way to being competitive with top teams .
