McDonogh seems to do less with what they have. So they are out.

Calvert Hall and Spalding and BL will be in the mix. Come down to who is peaking and injuries at end of season. All things being same, Spalding takes it finally.

This will be one of those years where 10 schools chase one school. Last year was such an anomaly: BL trips across the finish line, McDonogh implodes, and Spaulding is in the playoffs, Calvert has injury without depth. BL will miss the final 4 this year. McDonogh will be in finals and lose to Calvert by 6. St. Marys and Loyola will be other two final four teams.

St. Mary’s can lose to anyone this year. They are average.

Honest question - who are the people behind Sirius Lacrosse? Is it the Slainte coaches? Some real headscratchers on there list, including several top rated attackmen who haven't played in 2021.

I doubt McD does anything. They have had off the charts talent last few years without success. See no reason to think any different this year.

Calvert comes back, along with BL and Spalding . Spalding and Calvert Hall in final. It is a toss up.

Spalding all the way

Spalding.
Senior middie transfer from SJ makes them the best in the DC Baltimore area.

Wouldn’t even be true if he was there.

Old lazy coaches in the MIAA better figure it out because all the new young coaches even the ones with ouside help want to win and it appears at any cost. MCD losing when it counts,STM losing last 3 games when it counted,CH playing average with top talent. How teams finish a year is a direct result from coaching.Teams are still not even formed until Spring while other teams have played 20 games during summer, fall and winter.

Dont take it personal buddy, being a hater on here of a school you have no affliation with is par for the course. Posting something like you did just to get a from reply from someone else or even yourself pretending to be someome is why this is so comical. Believing that your actually having a conversation on here with STM dad is about as notIntelligent as your post about a team your not even apart of - or are apart of which is ecven more notIntelligent and comical. notIntelligent

TRUE-Coaches that have been around awhile need to adapt to a season starting in Summer not Spring. Obviously all schools are different in size and multiple sport players have an affect on this but waiting till Spring to set a team seems lazy, arrogant and ridiculous.Talent is as strong as ever across the board and last year it was clear the talent didnt disappoint, it was the coaching.

Think it is time for a few more coaches in MIAA to be replaced. Doubt it happens.. To much nepotism

STM hasn’t lost to a public school in 50 years. Spalding loses to SP and Broadneck on a regular basis. Your rankings are silly.

Maybe in years past. Spalding has a good team now. Easily beat the Publics this year. Who knows in future. Your feelings for Spalding cloud everything you say.

Better choice would be old boys network of friends, family. Look at coaches have been in place years. Not that hard to figure out. Time for a change on the coaches that have over 10-15 years in job.

Severna park lol. 2022’l would not start on any MIAA A team. 2023’s even worst. 2024 even worst

Not 1 2022 D1 commit. Only a few lower level D3 schools.

That's only 3 guys. STM, MCD and CH.

I assume you can take Kelly off that list, because why would you replace a guy who just won 3 straight, before losing in the Final 4 this year?

By all means, make your case. But it seems like you're reaching a bit.

Really??? Half the team plays for the Hawks and other half plays for prostart. Both teams aren't really good. Big HOLE at the middie and goalie positions. Politics are catching up to STM.....

Please explain the politics at St. Mary’s? They have kids EVERY year committing to high D1 level schools. Those kids play. If you aren’t one of those kids then you probably should go somewhere else.

2022 from Severna Park committed to Towson. Another one about to commit D and the D3 commits are to programs in the top of the rankings. Several 23's and 24's with talent to go D1 also. Keep trying.

You answered your question. Kelly had the luxury of two big boys that transferred in. Soon as they were gone, titles left him. Other two, have big talent and little results. Time for change, game is leaving them behind

This is a notIntelligent thread. Calvert Hall is going to dominate the league this year and it wont be close. Best attack, Best defense, Best goalie, Best midfield, Best coaches, Most seniors... no asterisks just another championship ...

Feelings? Its a truth that most cant handle on New Cut road.Congrats on having a good team for maybe 2 years in row for the entire history of the program. Having the best player in the league carry team to 4-5 wins by himself last year is the only reason why Spalding made any noise at all.#truthhurts#feelings

Tons of talent all over the field and on bench. Bad coaching is the only reason why they lost last 3 games of the year.Teams success comes from getting better as the season goes on not worse.Thats coaching. Players go 4 years without seeing the field at STM and all play in college, and contribute in college. Having system that doesnt allow player growth or the ablilty to change up strategy during a game when being out coached. Those are all facts that smacked the entire team in ther face this year - except the coaches.

Either way, for the amount of talent on those teams, the results were underwhelming.

Correct. Loyola has run their program into ground. Last year was a dumpster on fire sitting on the tracks waiting for a train to hit it.

That's interesting. The biggest commentary I've seen about Loyola is that the team is being run like a club program. No culture, lots of bravado, not a lot of substance.

Men for others. And sick sideline cellys.
