Was just told ninety one tore crossfire apart and Tilts and the girls exchanged some tear filled hugs on Wednesday saying goodbye. Anyone know what happened ?

The parents and players were told they were staying together and from what we gathered as parents the coaches did too. Seems they were blindsided and the team was split up and the majority went to two parent coaches referenced in earlier posts. Huge mistake on 91 considering that Tilts was their longest standing girls coach. Seems both coaches are going to leave and pursue coaching elsewhere. A shame considering what they built with our kids this years. We are more than likely leaving the club due to lack of honesty and trust between our family and them. Those coaches were the only real draw to stay. Hope the coaches end up somewhere they thrive and hope all our kids do as well.

91 Crossfire has changed coaches because of 91 head office tantrums more often than I change my socks. Everyone knows that 91 girls is a horrible money grab. They do nothing for their girls except collect money from their parents. Why you would think this would change, because they hired - and are now losing a new coach, is beyond comprehension. Warnings were plastered all over this board before last season when the last coach was fired (God forbid a 20-something year old made some money on the side working clinics for other clubs)

The entire 91 organization is built on lies, deceit, and good marketing. Now, maybe, you'll believe the rest of us and spread the word to others.

And this is why 91 will never have a successful girls program. I feel bad for those few remaining 2024 players that stuck it out after their last coach abandoned them in the middle of last summer, then struck gold with Tilts, then got screwed again. That program will completely implode again in a few seasons if not sooner. I mean, did anyone really think the merger with the Bandits was going to save them?

That’s a pretty crummy thing to do to 2024s. Did the club give any reason? Did they communicate anything at all?

Such a shame. I got to see that group play this summer and they looked great compared to other years. Months ago someone on here said they would find a way to screw up a good thing and clearly they have

Things really did change for this team this year when they added Coach Sam. It was one of the first years that this team was really showing up growing & happy. The girls were told so late what was happening it didn’t give anyone a chance to do anything but choose to stay. Had we known the intentions there was no reason we would have stayed knowing the coaches were gone. The girls are heartbroken and it’s despicable. Parents sat watching kids tryout while the parent coach perozzi through a hissy fit at the tent until another woman threatened to fire her for her behavior.

I’d assume that the girls and their coaches didn’t know it the coaches and girls were “teary” at the end of tryouts

No communication. Reasoning overheard while owners were yelling on the field was that the other coaches had kids on the team now.

Plenty of time to tryout for other clubs still

That sounds like a disgruntled parent bashing the coach who’s taking over the team.

Sounds like they wanted Tilts out for whatever reason. So she’s officially gone from 91? Isn’t she one of the directors?

Tilts is becoming Jesters 24 Black team coach. Her leaving 91 was because she was lied to and she got another offer

Lied to 91? How can you NOT lie to 91. All 91 does is lie.

Speaking of lies, the last coach did not leave in the middle of last summer. 91 fired her. She was moonlighting, working clinics with another club trying to earn some extra money. 91 found out and fired her.

You have to love perozzi and her antics!! That woman is a cancer wherever she goes!! what a train wreck!!

Tilts was on the field coaching alone while the other adults caught it out. We were a new family trying out but Tilts was wearing a shirt that said “Coach Tilts” on the back so unless she lent her shirt to another 24 coach she was not under the tent.

It was perozzi (older lady in a hat), a young blonde girl, Spallina, and a girl with black hair.

Seems like she resigned because she didn’t think her players were treated properly in this situation.

Good pickup for jesters she was one of the best things that happened to ninety one

Love this site. Not a single one of you actually has the facts correct. That’s usually the case on here. But you all keep going. Don’t let facts get in the way of your drama.

How did she decide on jesters ? I feel like any club would’ve snatched her up with ease

Crossfire coaches were as honest as they could have been from what we witnessed on the sidelines this week they were as shocked as the entire team was with how things played out

Tilts is a great coach. Although my daughter is graduating highschool now. I’ve known this young woman since she was in college and even at a young age she was willing to do whatever she had to for my daughter. No matter where she ends up the kids and program are very lucky to have her. I’m sure she isn’t happy considering how publicly close her and that group of girls was and for her to walk away by her own choice something must have really sat with her the wrong way. I hope wherever she ends up holds on tight because she is a work horse.

We’re you there? Tilts never left the field during tryouts… she was down there the entire tryout. Parents on the sidelines even commented how she was down on the field alone running the entire tryout while Perozzi argued. A few minutes later the assistant went up and all the men were off to the side with their backs to the field. Seems like you are grasping at straws here buddy

Seems the men at 91 couldn’t deal with a strong female ego. God forbid a woman is successful and a bit of a self promoter. They’d rather fire her than let her outshine them. stunad move on 91’s part.
