Imagine all the parent swag that Machine parents can wear if they were to win the WSYL next year… not sure there would be enough bejeweled supply in stock for the the 91 moms and dads to quench their thirst. After all it’s not the kids that play and win it’s also the parents they are winners to!!

Not true. As your kid gets older and rides the bench on his A team, the B team won’t look so bad. I know plenty of kids that play in college that played on B teams their entire career. Just because they are an A player at 12 doesn’t mean they will be an A player at 16 or 17.

Enough with the disparaging of A, A-, B, C teams, town teams, etc.,

Some kids just want to play because they enjoy the sport. Some parents actually get that their kid isn't going to Hopkins for lax but they support their kids. FULL RESPECT for the dad's that bury their egos and are not living vicariously through their kids and coach the "B" teams. They get it. The best kid on said B teams is probably better than the last kid on the roster on most A teams. Get a life...

Yep, you nailed it. IMO, in most instances, there are a few B-kids on A -teams and a few A-kids on B-teams

Wish more people would think like you ....
I can't tell you how many people I've come across on these teams that refer to their sons as "studs" and try very hard to prop their kid up when in fact they're very average and everybody knows it . Point is , who cares anyway they're supposed to be having fun and those with the right parents guiding them are having fun and those with the sideline coach parents who are constantly looking at the sideline at their parents after they do something look stressed out . It's sad . Also, there are at least 5 kids on each A team that don't belong there due to " favors", " friends with the coach " " belong to the same town as the couch ' etc.....also very sad

I know a parent that yells and coaches from the sideline at his son ....knows nothing about lacrosse but claims that his son loves to hear him from the sideline . Meanwhile the fool is telling the kid to do the opposite of what the coaches want the kid to do . Complete clown .

Seriously though , if a kid is 12 and he needs his father to coach him from a sideline especially when that father never played lacrosse in his lifetime that's a problem . If he needs to hear " that should be blue " or " shoot it, shoot it " maybe it's time for another sport ?

Heard REBELS are putting together a strong team. If your sons good, and not on a top team, no chance to get to World series.
No doubt 91 top team, after that its up in the air.

Not sure what you are saying here? Rebels keeping team together ? But I bet there will be movement in all teams. Why won't their 2027 play in top tournaments and in AA division?

What about Rebels A team, I believe United? I see them do pretty well in tournaments and ranked 60 or so in US club lax however I never see them compete in AA tournaments.... Another B team? or on the borderline of A-B?

Rebels will only compete at Highest level now

If a team is tanked as low as 60 it is definitely a B level team . Once you leave the top 20 you're diving into B teams

United never had a 2027 team . Why stay away ? What if its good coaching that might be a good fit and little lower on the cost . You can say B Level with most teams . Everyone on the A teams .

They did play this weekend at a Blatant which was advertised for B and C right on the banner

91 Machine is going to win the World Series so stay away from any club owner selling the expensive dream about his club going to the World Series. These guys sell snake oil in the heart of long island.

Sure that is probably true regarding Machine but I hear just qualifying and being at the event is great for the teams/boys..no?

This 2027 was a very good 2027 team. Lots of top teams don't think this was a B and C event. 2028 division was loaded. Silverfin is a legit 2027. Rebels team getting better each week, obviously no machine and not even close but trending in the right direction and approaching AA.

When you're a B team and play well at B team tournaments that does not make you an A team . Not even close . Don't judge anything by what you do there . Judge by how you do at the top tournaments playing legit A teams . Then you know where you stand .but to say you saw them at a tournament and they played well means nothing when that blatant tournaments are usually B team tournaments

Don't listen the brainless 91 dad...typical stuff that they spew. Nothing is a given . Sure , we have seen and know that machine is a great team but some other teams may get stronger and the wsyl pulls teams from across the country so they can't blown out weak teams in their dynamic owned tournaments.Hawks have always given machine a hard time and beat them a few times as well so take it easy 91 dad.

No one is like the Machine so no shame in that. Plan on bringing son to tryout to check it out.
