oh they lost to 23s , well they still couldnt throw and catch very good
does that janelli team practice regularly? they practice but its usually a dad or too running it, the head coach may show up if its pay day its a pay to play team basically What happened to the 4 “self proclaimed” super stars on jabroni ? They still can’t catch and throw ? the never could , thats what made those rumors so ridiculous come on, three of those kids are decent and the other is probably better suited for the c team. just a team in decline, happens all the time

Maybe they just had an off game? They are 3-1 in the league having beaten a few Varsity teams. Jeez...

I've got a hard time believing kids on Jabroni's B team can't catch and throw, yet somehow they're beating varsity teams in games, and are top 15 in the country? I would also think we wouldn't spend multiple pages of this thread putting together a heat map of where the Fantastic Four will end up if they truly didn't have any talent. Let's just stick to talking smack about the adults and teams in general fellas.
2025 kids that are still playing at this point are ones that want to get better at their craft, should we discourage that? I'm sure we'll have a ton to talk about this summer with all the pent up movement from team to team from this past 'season' so let's work on our verbal delivery this offseason, and be ready come July. I'm sure you can do better than 'they can't and throw good', you're all better than that I'm certain of it.

Serious question for those that have been through this. Have a 6th grade daughter that generally plays Def and mid. Her team’s primary goalie went down with long term injury. Coach asked kid if interested in being goalie. Asked her and she is 50/50 about it. Thoughts? Feel like she would be good but don’t want her to get stuck there.

Maybe have her try it out at a practice or two. If she finds that she doesn't really want to be in there and has no intention of sticking with it, she will end up wasting an entire season. It is not everyone's cup of tea to be hit with hard rubber balls.

Really wish Long Island had a similar spring season like the Mid-Atlantic Division of NGLL.

Really wish Long Island had a similar spring season like the Mid-Atlantic Division of NGLL. NGLL tried 2 years in a row to get a Long Island region going and not enough clubs joined. it took a pandemic for local lacrosse to finally happen. I hope we can see more local leagues in the future. Sadly it looks like another summer spent on the NJ turnpike for most of us.

To many egos to do a spring league like Mid-Atlantic. Plus you have 7th and 8th graders playing high school lax. Where as Maryland doesn’t allow 7/8 graders to play. How is Spallina going to coach his SB team, his 22 91 team, his 23 91 team and his daughters 25 YJ team. Heard he’s started recruiting for his babies 2035 YJ team.

Has any clubs played lacrosse this spring? summer season starts up this weekend with many clubs playing at Lax by the Sea. Interested to see how YJ Spallina does. they really haven't played much in the last 18 months.

The true barometer of this team and most others will be at the late june and july tourneys. Many kids playing varsity and JV HS seasons right now. The focus for those girls has not been on club team, but will be in a few weeks.

They are good, but what does Spallina do in a showcase tourney when he needs to utilize all 25 girls? Does he only bring the top 15 girls and leave the rest at home?

You think the teams nationally have gotten weaker? M&D? SW? Heros? CT Grizzlies? Wonder how YJ would do in the Baltimore area playing those 3 teams week in week out. The 2025 class on the island is weak.
