Igloo wins the toughest tournament of the year. All of the best club teams were there.
Congratulations Igloo. Thanks dad. Igloo violated the rules twice, by playing two non rostered players in the goal. #rules Yes, they did because of medical emergency! You must have no class and be a sore lose for questioning the decision to let them have their 2023 goalies play for them. Not an Igloo parent either, Team 91 MD parent here. Hi Millon. Bad decision. They should have had another goalie on the roster.

Our team played in the tournament this weeknd and the top 15 teams were great the bottom 5 were very questionable. It would be good to see some kind of qualifying tournament for certain regions. The DMV and NY should get 5 teams in and then the rest should qualify. The top 5 teams from HOCO league should and how ever NY wants to set who comes from there. There were some bad teams and surprise teams (NL Grey Hounds ) but overall one of the best tournament2we have been to. Great location, good officals, and great comp. Next year can they use the actual score boards. officials were poor and must be improved in the future ~ tournament should watch the film ~ hope to see college referees next year.

All hoco elite teams have kids born before 9/1/2003! All of them! If you think your coach would turn away a quality player that was born before 9/1/2003 and was in the correct grade, you are mistaken.
Blame your coach for being a crappy recruiter, but don't blame the other teams for getting these kids as the kids realize they are not at the top of their grade and drop down to take a spot from a younger kid.
That's the way club lacrosse works.
If you don't like it, play rec. There is no option in club lacrosse for teams that only take kids born after 9/1/2003.

Congratulations Igloo. Was Primetime there? Oh, not all the best teams. Prime Time should have been there, but they have enough losses against many of the teams that were there to make igloo the valid national champ. Prime Time needs to get that application in earlier to Millon next year.

Thanks Fat Crab and/or parent of a re-classed 14-15 year old playing with rising 8 graders. You're a class act.

I guess now we know a big reason for the Hawks success this season. Face off guy using an illegal stick. Between that and the holdbacks, no wonder.

Sorry your kids team did not do better and you have to find excuses. Better luck next year. Please continue to fabricate lies and vent your hatred. I find it ironic that all the L.I. Crybabies can harp about all the alleged hold backs on various Maryland teams (player cutoff dates established in MD are valid to MD players but L.I. teams keep coming every summer) but Igloo can use non-rostered players and justify it as ok. Should have put the equipment on a rostered player. Illegal and cheaters.

This tournament champion of igloo should be disqualified. They went from having one rostered goalie on day one to two new goalies unrostered on Sunday. And the fact that Millon didn't call them on it was a joke. Shameful act by igloo. Pure and blatant act of cheating. This tournament became a bunch of scrimmages with no champion. Great job Millon.

black and white: rules are rules and igloo competed in violation thus disqualification. igloo coach was irresponsible for attending the event with only one player in a key position and tournament director failed to enforce rule

Long Island Cheaters. It's simple. Igloo used non-rostered player, it's a clear rule violation. No? Should have dressed a rostered player in goalie equipment.
Cheaters.

They were 2023 going up against holdbacks. You are just pissed your players couldn't get past the younger ones.

Don't be mad at Igloo. If you are going to direct your anger at anyone it should be the director of the tournament. He was made aware of their circumstance and approved it and did so knowing there was a chance that his team would have to play them.

This is all silly. So you are all saying that you would rather win by a technicality?
I mean MM is an [lacrosse], but his team is the one that would benefit by disqualifying them as they would win the championship. Can you imagine the backlash if he did that and made his team the winner? Everyone needs to get over themselves. It was a great group of teams.

The tournament and championship have been discredited.

That's like saying don't be mad at the student for cheating but direct your anger to the teacher for allowing it. Now that would be stupid but I am not going to try to educate you.

1 person decides if the rules are broken and that is Millon. As the director he has final say and he decided based on the circumstances that it was ok...thats it, period end of story. Igloo didn't put glasses with a nose and moustache on another goalie and put him out there with a different name on his back. You are upset because you lost to a mostly younger and smaller team. Get over it

Get over it Upset because cheaters never win, except in this case. All coaches were well aware of the published rules, when registering and submitting the rosters. While we are talking cheating, what were the two other tournaments that the 2021-2022 igloo team played in to be in compliance with the WSYL tournament?

Just think of it as Igloo got a 100 on the test and your son (who has to sit in the back because he is so big due to repeating the grade )got a 65 lol
