You lost the semi to a LI team, team 9d1 crush LI always beats you, team 9d1 md lost by 1 to you in OT Monday with your fogo and beat the team twice this week that you lost to. why not just say Congratulations to other teams instead of slinging the mud as your team does every time thry lose.

. FCA 2020 has about 5 or 6 holdbacks and will soon be adding another, the holdback middie from Crabs. Now, with this said, the FCA faithful will deny they have more than one holdback, but the true count is either 5 or 6 plus one more to come. Seems they hide behind their religious demeanor and feel people should believe whatever they say is the truth but many know it is not. Their 2020 team should have been playing in the 2019 division at Naptown tournament. Many don't like the atmosphere of this program, and the direction it has been heading in the past few years. The politics Kelly stirs up is unbelievable, both at FCA and CH.

. Nope, completely wrong, FCA is becoming a holdback program, giving Crabs a run for the number of holdbacks. Seems they like the "bigger and older" look, much like Crabs. I agree with the poster above, FCA 2020 is really much closer to a 2019 team.

Great competitive game by the kids but both sets of parents are obnoxious. Refs should have thrown out parents from both sides for harassing them and both teams have loud mouths screaming at the kids. Poor kids from both teams.

they are all in high school now you really are going to have to stop whining about this. what if your precious one makes varsity are you going to send the school board a letter

Why is that a problem, tomahawk fogo showed he was the best one there, he received mvp of the uncommitted game and beat everyone good!

Between all the sideline coaching from the MD parents and the LI parents whining about every call, it got pretty ugly. Tournaments should tell parents positive feedback only or you forfeit.

No they're not, school has not started and tryouts have not been held yet. These are the teams that were formed last fall.

Believe the reference was to choosing Tomahawks as the favored to win the whole thing in your last line - nothing to do with your FOGO... a little levity.

three weeks left in the summer season. then high school and big frosh recruiting events including nlf event nov 6 @ boys latin. Coaches don't care how old kids are if they are prepared to commit to sept 2020 they are going to get offers.

Just shows you that when they don't win all the face offs they're just an average team. Also adds to the importance of the fogo at even the 2020 level."

FACT. Been saying this for last couple of years. big attackman so over rated. F/O middie is a great player even if he didn't excel in this matchup though.

It was a game of men vs. boys. Express has a few big boys but nothing like FCA. If not holdbacks, would love to know what they are feeding those kids.

Not quite sure how one particular MD parent (goalie's father?) loudly & obnoxiously coaching from the sidelines made it through the day. Already started during the Prime Time game, face was already turning red & looking like a cardiac arrest was imminent. But they did win, so at least now his life must feel complete.....

Sidelines would have been empty for these two teams all tournament. At least the Legacy big mouths stayed in one place. 9d1 dads pace up and down the sidelibes screaming and sharing their coaching skills and knowledge with everyone in addition to yelling at the players and refs. Good luck to getting their sons recruited with that nonsense. they risk all the players because nobody wants to hear that.

I didn't think FCA looked that much bigger than Express. I recorded it (it was on cable in the DC area), so will look again. But size difference did not stand out. Express defense did not look great--quick slides with no adjacent help left smaller FCA attackmen open for several dunks. FCA players looked faster, rather than bigger, to me.

Your roll is short lived. FCA lost to Crabs a few weeks ago at Crabfeast 9 to 7. It was the battle of the kings of holdbacks.

As a Westchester NY parent, what I just don't get is, both the complete denial about the age discrepancies from Md parents, (even when at every lined up position they're a head taller) and then listening to them on the sidelines as if it was a great accomplishment competing against an obvious younger team. I use the example again of the middie and attackman from the Crabs. What exactly are they getting out of competing against players 1-2 years younger? In baseball, if you're a stud player you're ridiculed if you're not playing up. (Except perhaps in National-type tournaments)

Agreed Express Terps attack not very good, sometimes non existant.

I know a lot of Dad's pimpin' for their kid's teams. So I'll join in. Preds 2020 had a good year. Won fl$ tourney, beat Igloo in Finals. Went undefeated at Loyola showcase. Lost to a good 3d San Diego team in the quarters at NXT at Towson after beating them earlier in the tourney. (Their FOGO got picked up by Hopkins) And won the NXT Cup, beating a good Georgia team (with one of the top attackmen in the country) twice, 9D1 MD solidly, and fl$ in the finals. Should be considered a top level contender and in the mix next year.

come to a real tournament then. try 4HHH fall invitational or aplly for NLF Boy Latin school nov 6 or NLF in Long Island Nov 20. That is where the top teams will be playing in the Fall.

Prime time parents were pretty fired up too. They won so maybe the expert "coaching" helped.

MD Maryland dad should be proud of his 16 year old Goalie! Can't wait till he faces kids his own age and isn't able to be a bully on the field!

Crab losses are a good thing. Really upsets their leader.

There are quite a few holdbacks on Md 9 te 1 2020 team. Their coach will try and have you think otherwise but many know the true story.
And people are correct, I am from Md but my son plays on a different 2020 elite team that wasn't in this tournament but have play this team before, and the parents are horrible, just loud and out of control. The coaches ex wife is something else. Her Facebook page is full of BOOM!, WOOP WOOP!, and other crap like that and at the games she is just as loud yelling at the refs as anyone else and out of control. BOOM

A few things I am wondering about:
1. If a kid is going to lots of "showcases" but really isn't that great, will a poor performance as a rising 9th grader possibly hurt his in a year or two? I guess what I am asking, do the coaches in attendance keep a list of kids that have contacted them and just aren't that good or will they look at the kid again in the future, if the kid ends up being better than he is right now

2. Do committed kids continue to play in "all-star" games and do their parents continue to pay big bucks for showcase events?

Interesting that you seem to know so much. There are no 16 year olds on the team despite your notion but figured you already know that since you are so personally familiar with a moms fb page. You must be pretty obsessed. Guess your son was a breaker that got cut in the last two years. 91d is one of the few elite teams that is younger - a large number of team goes to public school where you can not hold back. Including both goalies Stop by and check the kids ids or birth certificates some time. Some of The parents are loud side line coaches and harass refs but you just took things to a whole new level out of spite.
