If you believe that movement on the top teams is not already known prior to try-outs regardless of whether the kids actually try-out or not, you're delusional. Coaches know thier kids and they know the kids they play against in Club, HS and Rec. They already know which kids from outside the organization are better than the kids they have on thier squad. Nobody is going to evaluate a 100+ kids over a couple hours. Try-outs are truly for the lower teams. |
