Yes Coppermine has a couple of really talented girls that can score at will but the entire team is talented so to discount any is unfair. Same goes for all the top teams like M&D, Hero’s, Crush, SW, etc. Clearly the family had other reasons and we should wish them well because after all it’s just a 13 or 14 year old girl. No need to bash the kid, her family or the club. May not have been the best fit for her. It will happen to other players and clubs.

Wish the kid well for sure. The parents are cray cray and will be the issue. It won’t be her last stop !

Here's a different take. These clubs have coaching issues especially Coppermine. They have girls who never play a minute in games, even in the Fall. That's not how you develop players. Instead of bashing parents, clubs need to look in the mirror and reflect on their coaching choices.
The Coppermine club is well aware of and supports these coaches decisions. The 2028 coach is also a club director.

Why would ANY parents pay $3,000 a year for their daughter not to touch the field just to say they won a t shirt is insanity. The Coppermine coaches should be ashamed of themselves. This is the time to develop these young girls, not worrying about t shirts.

It's no secret that Coppermine 28 prioritizes winning over everything else, which is often not in the best interests of some pretty talented players. And I don't mean the top 2 or 3 players, I'm referring to the really talented supporting cast who could the team would be lost without. But Coppermine has their reasons as have been mentioned, and as long as they're not promising something different, then the players and their parents are well aware of the situation. Let them do their thing and let's stop talking about them all. the. time.
