What's the go to tryout event for next Summer: All America, American Select, AU Futures, Apex 60? Miss any?
American Select is well-run, fully attended by college coaches--including top 20, and the number and quality of commitments from girls who attended (yes, probably driven by their club, not necessarily Am Select) is very impressive. Seems most important at the rising 10th or 11th grade level.
AU Futures was not at the same level last summer. The number of "pros" interacting with the girls was light. Some of the regional teams seemed to be better organized and competed hard for their college coaches, but others were less fully engaged. Did not see a ton of college coaches, but they may have been there for the older girls.
Would like to hear a view on All America.
